Hefei

Opened in 2003, our Hefei, Anhui branch is where OI China originated. The city of Hefei was chosen because of its great need for our services. Initial studies on the demand for microcredit services in Hefei reported that while 95% of Small and Medium Enterprises wanted to get bank loans, less than 1% ever received one. Thus, in October 2003, OI China began operations as a Credit Guarantee Company. We seek out clients and assist them in attaining a loan from local partner banks.  By using our own assets at the bank as collateral, clients who otherwise would not have been able to attain a loan are now given the opportunity to receive credit.  In addition, we provide clients and their families with services such as financial training, human resource management, safety training, and English classes. To date, we have created over 4,000 jobs through our work in Hefei.
