Geoffrey Kells - Chairman of OI China, Director of OI Hong Kong
Geoffrey Kells spent his executive business career with CSR Company Ltd., one of Australia’s largest companies, and served as its Managing Director and CEO for four years. Over the past 20 years, Geoff has served on the boards of various companies and organizations in Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia, including Opportunity International Australia. Paul Heiss - Chairman of OI Hong Kong, Director of OI China
Paul Heiss is the founder and chairman IBCC Group, Inc., a U.S.-based holding company that owns businesses that design, manufacture, and distribute products to the automotive servie and mining equipment markets in North America. He has been an active member of the Opportunity International Board of Governors since 1995, and has visited and studied successful microenterprise development projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Aaron White - Deputy Chairman and CEO
Aaron White is responsible for all the Opportunity International operations in China and Hong Kong. He joined the board in 2005. Upon receiving a calling from the Lord, Aaron resigned from his Australian private equity firm and became OI China's CEO in July 2007. Previously, Aaron served as CEO for China Plantation Timber Products (PTP) for Carter Holt Harvey, President of AMP Greater China, and President of CSR Taiwan Group. Read More
Richard Jelinek - Director of OI Hong Kong, Director of OI China
Richard Jelinek is a founding partner and Managing Director of Performance Catalysts, an association of experienced, executive-level change advisors and project managers. Dick brings over twenty-five years of strategic change and organizational effectiveness experience developed through his extensive work with executive officers and their teams. Over the past several years, he has led significant change initiatives at companies such as Motorola, Unilever, Raytheon, and Northrop Grumman. Read More
David Smith - Director of OI Hong Kong
David Smith is the founder and former chairman of AM Corporation Ltd., which he sold in 2003. Under David's guidance, AM became Australia’s leading independent superannuation and investment specialist, with over 300 staff supporting more than 170,000 clients and more than $3.5 billion in assets under management. David’s other business experience includes being a residential and commercial mortgage manager in Australia and running financial service businesses in both the UK and South Africa. Read More
Kenneth Vander Weele - Director of OI China
Kenneth Vander Weele advises the Opportunity International Network Group, Opportunity Transformational Investments, and Opportunity International's Eastern European region. He is also a board member at a number of Asian Opportunity International partners. Before coming to Opportunity, Ken served as the senior vice president, CFO, and founding shareholder for Graphisphere Corporation and also worked for Grant Thornton. Read More
Jerry Huang-Chieh Chu - Director of OI China
Jerry H. C. Chu brings over 25 years of experience in banking and telecommunication industries. Currently, he is President of Taiwan Teleservices & Technologies (TT&T) Co., Ltd. in Taipei, Taiwan with supervision responsibility for over 1500 employees. TT&T is a subsidiary company of Taiwan Mobile Co., Ltd. (TWM), the second largest mobile service operator in Taiwan. From 2003 to 2008, Jerry was TWM’s Chief Auditor and VP of Quality Management, and before that, he was VP and Senior Country Operation Officer (SCOO) for the N.A. Taiwan branch of Citibank. Read More
Bradley Landes - Director of OI Hong Kong
Bradley Dean Landes has been a financial professional since 1981 when he joined Morgan Guaranty Trust in New York. He has held a number of roles in trading and principal investing throughout his career, and is currently the Managing Director and Deputy Head of Asia for Mount Kellett Capital, a global alternative investment fund. He is the Treasurer of Union Church in Hong Kong and also serves on the church’s Management Committee. Read More
