David Smith
Director of OI Hong Kong
David Smith is the founder and former chairman of AM Corporation Ltd., which he sold in 2003. AM’s vision under David was “to be a leader and a force for good in the financial services industry.” Indeed, with David's guidance, AM became Australia’s leading independent superannuation and investment specialist, with over 300 staff supporting more than 170,000 clients and more than $3.5 billion in assets under management.
David’s other business experience includes being a residential and commercial mortgage manager in Australia and running financial service businesses in both the UK and South Africa. David is now busy running Genesis Charitable Foundation and Investment.
In 2000, after serving for ten years on the Council of Shore School where he attended, David was awarded the Wesley Spirit of Mission Award. Before that, David completed an actuarial course at Macquarie University.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macquarie University and is an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries in Australia and the UK. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Sydney.

David先生曾荣获2000年Wesley使命精神奖。他最近完成了在海滨学校理事会的学习，之后，他又在Macquarie大 学学习保险课程。同时他也是悉尼扶轮社的会员。
David先生是Macquarie大学文学士，同时在澳大利亚和英国也是保险精算协会的会员。
